How to set up a Crazytel SIP Trunk with your UniFi Talk
Navigate to your UniFi dashboard
Click on UniFi Talk:
Click on Third-Party SIP:
Click Create New:
Click the drop-down next to Provider:
Select Custom from the drop-down menu
Click Provider Name and enter a provider name for your Crazytel Servcie (IE, Crazytel)
Click Add Field
Add your custom field to the text box shown
Click the + icon to add the field
Repeat steps 9 and 10 for the following custom fields:
proxy
realm
password
register
username
sip_cid_type
retry_seconds
expire-seconds
When all the above fields have been added, your custom fields collection should look like this:
Click Done
Fill out each field as required - notes on fields you may need to change are below the screenshot: - BIZ accounts use a different PROXY and REALM - Some connections (IE, services using Telstra's NBN, or Starlink) require the use of an alternative VoIP port. This can be configured by adding ':25160' at the end of your VoIP Proxy (see line below): sip.crazytel.net.au:25160 or sip.biz.crazytel.net.au:25160 - Copy + Paste your SIP Trunk ID in the 'username' field - Click Handle All Outgoing Calls By Default - Enter your Crazytel Phone Number in +61 format (IE, +6173073155), then click the '+' button
Click Add IP Address Range:
Enter 0.0.0.0 and 0, as below:
Click Add to whitelist the IP address
Click Apply Changes:
Your UniFi Talk device should now show as registered under SIP Trunks on your Crazytel Customer Portal
