Simplifying Local Calls with Local Number Dialling

 

Make local calling easier by dialling just the local phone number, without the need for an area code. Follow these straightforward steps to configure your setup.

 

1. Access Your SIP Trunk Settings:
   - Navigate to the SIP Trunks section.
    - Locate the trunk you are currently using and click the Edit button below it.
   
   
2. Configure Your Caller ID for Local Dialling:
   - In the editing panel, find the Caller ID field.
   - Select your Local DID (Direct Inward Dialling) number from the dropdown menu.  Note: By default, the system uses the area code associated with your Call ID. Changing this to your Local DID ensures seamless local number dialling.
   
   
3. Save Your Updates:
   - Once you've made the necessary adjustments, click Save Changes to apply them to your SIP Trunk setup.
