Enabling Local Number Dialling: A Step-by-Step Guide
- Access Your SIP Trunk Settings:
- Navigate to the SIP Trunks section.
- Locate the trunk you are currently using and click the Edit button below it. - Configure Your Caller ID for Local Dialling:
- In the editing panel, find the Caller ID field.
- Select your Local DID (Direct Inward Dialling) number from the dropdown menu. Note: By default, the system uses the area code associated with your Call ID. Changing this to your Local DID ensures seamless local number dialling. - Save Your Updates:
- Once you've made the necessary adjustments, click Save Changes to apply them to your SIP Trunk setup.
