Can I port my nubmer to Crazytel?

Yes, you can bring your existing phone number to our service. For a seamless experience, please follow the guidelines below.

1. Starting your porting request:

Requirements:

  • Your latest invoice from your current provider (postpaid) OR
  • The account holder's Date of Birth (prepaid)
  • (Mobile Numbers Only) the number verified on your Crazytel account.

Step-by-step:

  1. Sign into your Crazytel Customer portal
  2. Navigate to Number Management > Porting Application using the left-hand navigation menu
  3. Select the appropriate porting type for your number
  4. Enter the number you'd like to port to Crazytel in the Phone Number to Port* field, including the area code
  5. Select your current carrier from the drop-down
    1. If your carrier does not show, select 'Other', and enter the carrier's name
  6. Enter your Carrier Account Number (this will be on the top of your invoice)
    1. If you're porting a prepaid service, select the Pre-Paid radio button and enter the account holder's Date of Birth
  7. Select your service address from the drop-down
  8. Upload your most recent invoice from your current provider
    1. If you're porting a pre-paid service, upload a receipt of activation, or evidence you hold the number
  9. Set your desired destination
    1. To use the Crazyphone application, select Device and the SIP Trunk ID linked to your app.
    2. To call forward, select Call Forward 1 and enter your destination number
  10. Submit your porting request

2. What happens next?

Crazytel will evaluate your porting application and send it to the losing carrier. Updates will be provided via email, and Number Management > Porting Status. You will be notified the day before your port completes that Crazytel has established routing.

NOTE: Although the number may appear on your Crazytel account the day before porting has completed, Crazytel will not have control over the number until the allocated cutover date and time.

 

 

1: Call forwarding requires additional setup - you will need a SIP Trunk present on your account, and Call Forwarding enabled under My Account > My Account
