Making a CrazyPBX Ring Group

A ring group allows multiple extensions to ring based on predefined rules. Follow these steps to set up a ring group in CrazyPBX.

Step 1: Sign In to the Crazytel Customer Portal

  1. Go to the Crazytel Customer Portal.

  2. Log in with your credentials.

  3. Click on CrazyPBX to access the PBX portal.

Step 2: Navigate to Ring Groups

  1. In the CrazyPBX portal, click Inbound Features.

  2. Select Ring Groups from the menu.

Step 3: Create a New Ring Group

  1. Click Setup New Ring Group.

  2. Enter the following details:

    • Ring Group Number: Choose a unique number for the group.

    • Ring Group Name: Assign a unique name.

    • Ring Mode: Select how calls should be distributed:

      • Simultaneous: Rings all destinations at the same time.

      • Staged: Starts with one, then rings the rest simultaneously if unanswered.

      • In Order: Rings each destination in sequence.

      • Shuffled: Rings a random extension from the list.

    • Timeout Destination: Choose where unanswered calls should go (voicemail recommended).

    • Members: Select which extensions should be part of the group.
      NOTE: Before selecting members, click Add a Member first, as the initial entry may not display available members correctly. This issue is being addressed.

  1. Click Save Changes to finalize the setup.

Your ring group is now active and ready to handle incoming calls!
