This guide covers how to create an announcement on CrazyPBX.
Step 1: Sign In to the Crazytel Customer Portal

Go to the Crazytel Customer Portal.

Log in with your credentials.

Click on CrazyPBX to access the PBX portal.
Step 2: Creating the CrazyPBX Announcement
- Navigate to Inbound Features and click Announcements
- Click New Announcement on the top right corner
- Enter a unique number to identify the announcement.
- Add a Nickname for easy reference.
- Provide a brief description (e.g., "Sales Announcement - uses 'Sales Audio' from 26/12/25")
- Select the audio you'd like to use.

Step 3: Bring the Announcement into routing
CrazyPBX announcements can be used at any intermediary point on a call route.
Some common places for Announcements include:
- After an IVR
- As a Time Switch Default Route (e.g., for out-of-hours messages).
- Immediately on incoming calls, notifying customers their call is being connected
