CrazyPhone - CrazyTel's official softphone application Setup Guide

The CrazyPhone app is Crazytel's official softphone application, allowing you to make and receive calls using your Crazytel service on your mobile device or computer. This guide walks you through the setup process for both new installations and reconfiguration of existing applications.
Setup Process
The setup process is identical whether you're configuring a new CrazyPhone softphone or reconfiguring an existing one. The only difference is that existing users may not need to download the software again.
Step 1: Download the App
Download and install the CrazyPhone app for your device:Mobile Applications:
Important Note: CrazyPhone desktop applications only work with CrazyPBX Extensions. They are not compatible with SIP Trunks. If you plan to use CrazyPhone on your computer, you must have a CrazyPBX Extension.
Step 2: Get Your QR Code
To configure the app, you'll need a QR code from your Crazytel account. The QR code contains all the necessary credentials to set up your softphone.Important note: Do not attempt to manually enter your credentials in the app. Only scanning the QR code will work properly.To obtain your QR code:
Sign in to the Crazytel customer portal using a device other than the one you plan to use the CrazyPhone app with
Navigate to SIP Trunks in the left navigation panel (for SIP Trunks) or to the CrazyPBX Extensions section (for Extensions)
For existing SIP Trunks that need reconfiguration:
Click EDIT under the unregistered SIP Trunk
Select Reset Password
Complete the confirmation call by entering the verification code
The QR code will be displayed on screen
For new SIP Trunk setup:
Click Add SIP Trunk on the top right
Set the SIP Trunk type to "Register based"
Configure your preferred caller ID
If using SMS, set your preferred Mobile Number for SMS Caller ID

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues during the setup process:
Ensure you're using the latest version of the CrazyPhone app
Verify that your SIP Trunk or Extension password has been properly reset
Make sure you're scanning the QR code in a well-lit environment
