Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Access Inbound Routes:
    - Navigate to the top menu in your FreePBX dashboard.
    - Click on Connectivity.
    - Select Inbound Routes from the dropdown menu.
    - Click Add Inbound Route to create a new configuration.

  2. Configure Inbound Route Details (General Tab):
Description: Enter a brief, descriptive label to identify this inbound route (e.g., "Main Office DID").
DID Number: Carefully enter the DID number purchased from the Crazytel Portal in international format (e.g., 61XXXXXXX). Ensure accuracy to avoid routing issues.
Set Destination: Choose where incoming calls should be directed:
         - IVR (Interactive Voice Response): For automated greetings and menu systems.
         - Extension: Direct calls to a specific user's extension.
         - Call Flow: Apply custom call handling workflows.

  3. Save Your Configuration:
    - Review your entries for accuracy.
    - Click the Submit button, located at the bottom right corner of the page, to save and activate your new inbound route.

Success! Your FreePBX system is now configured to receive calls from your purchased DID number, directing them to your specified destination. If you encounter any issues, feel free to consult additional resources or contact support for assistance.
