Overview
This article aims to cover common causes for calls disconnecting soon (10-30s) after being answered.
Troubleshooting
Crazyphone Mobile App:
- Confirm the call drops when dialing a non-Crazytel number. We recommend 1800 numbers as they're free to call.
+ If the call drops, proceed to Step 2.
- If the call does not drop, contact support. - Disconnect the phone from WiFi, and attempt the call again while connected to Mobile Data, or a different WiFi Network (Public, or a network hosted with different hardware)
+ If the call does NOT drop, confirm whether SIPALG is enabled on the troublesome WiFi network. You will need to google the make and model of your router, and the phrase 'Disable SIP ALG' for information on this process, as each router is different.
- If the call drops, contact support.
IP Phone or Softphone:
- Check router/modem settings to confirm SIP ALG status. If enabled, disable and try again.
