Adding a Register-Based SIP Trunk: A Step-by-Step Guide

Introduction:

Expand your communication capabilities by adding a Register-Based SIP Trunk to your account. Follow these easy steps to complete the setup process.
 

Step 1: Access Your Account

  • Navigate to the Crazytel portal at portal.crazytel.com.au.
  •  Log in using your existing credentials. Don't have an account? Sign up directly from the portal.
 

Step 2: Create a New SIP Trunk

  • From the left-hand menu, click on "SIP Trunks".
  •  Click the "Add SIP Trunk" button on the top right to initiate the creation process. Note: You can create as many SIP Trunks as needed, with no limitations.
 

Step 3: Configure Your SIP Trunk Details

  • Fill in the required information:
    Field Setting
    Trunk Type Select "Register Based" from the available options.
    Username A unique username will be automatically generated by Crazytel for your convenience.
    Password A secure password will also be generated by Crazytel. 
    CallerID Number Choose a verified number from the provided list.
    Nickname Assign a descriptive name to easily identify this SIP Trunk.
 

Step 4: Verification Process

  1. Click "Next" to receive an automated call on your registered mobile number.
  2. Listen for the verification pin and enter it in the designated field.
  3. Click "Submit" to complete the verification.
 

Step 5: Completion and Important Next Step

Immediately: copy and securely save the generated SIP Trunk Password, as it will only be visible once for security reasons.
